Secure chat sessions for external users

Private.Ki Chat establishes encrypted sessions for people who do not have a Private.Ki account. A secure channel is created through an invite link, and the temporary session is protected using the same encryption model as account-based messaging.

Invite by encrypted link or email

A chat session can be initiated by generating a cryptographically protected link or sending an encrypted invitation email. The recipient joins through a temporary session that inherits full end-to-end encryption.

Metadata fully encrypted

Details such as who you talk to, when you talk, and how often you exchange messages are encrypted or minimized. This prevents the reconstruction of communication patterns or social graphs. The server cannot see or infer your relationships.

Keys stored on your device

Your private keys are generated and kept exclusively on your own device. They are never uploaded, synced, or exposed to Private.Ki servers. All encryption and decryption operations happen locally.

Passphrase-protected encryption keys

Your private keys are secured with your passphrase, ensuring they cannot be accessed or used without your authentication. Even if someone gains temporary access to your device, encrypted key material remains protected. This adds an additional layer of defense on top of end-to-end encryption.

Traffic-pattern obfuscation

Network-level obfuscation reduces visible patterns in message timing, size, and frequency. This makes it significantly harder for observers to infer behavior or identify communication flow. Even encrypted traffic becomes resistant to metadata analysis.
